NSW: Two men found dead in bedrooms in separate incidents
SYDNEY, Dec 16 AAP - Two men have been found dead in their bedrooms in separate suspectedmurders over the past 24 hours, police said today.
The body of a 63-year-old man was discovered in the bedroom of his Fonthill Place housein Airds in Sydney's southwest yesterday morning.
The man had suffered fatal injuries to the right side of his head.
A post-mortem examination would be carried out in Westmead tomorrow to determine theexact cause of death, a police spokesman said.
A 42-year-old man was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and was releasedon strict bail conditions.
Meanwhile, the body of a 41-year-old man was found in his bedroom on a farm propertyon the NSW far south coast yesterday morning.
Police said it appeared the man suffered fatal wounds to his neck.
He was found in his home on Mt Darragh Road at Pambula.
The death was being treated as suspicious and a crime scene had been established, thespokesman said.
Police inquiries into both deaths were continuing.
