Constant Aviation LLC, a maintenance, repair, and overhaul facility headquartered at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, announced that their Birmingham facility has completed six 48-month and twenty smaller inspections over the last 90 days.
"We have always had the capabilities to service the Hawker 800A/XP line but made it an initiative in early 2011 to grow our experience on the airframe. The facility was able to complete the 48 month inspections in 25-30 days downtime which is below the industry average. This continues to showcase the organizations goal to provide continuity in capabilities and customer service throughout our entire service network," said Kevin Dillon, vice president of operations at Constant Aviation Birmingham.
The facility has also completed numerous engine changes and pre-buy inspections, and was recently chosen to begin the STC (Supplemental Type Certificate) process for Wi-Fi along with Aircell's Gogo Biz Inflight Internet system on the Hawker 800A/XP.
"With over 100 Hawker 800A/XP's based in the Southeast region it is important to our organization to offer world-class service along with unmatched experience on that airframe. We want to be able to provide our customers the best option for their scheduled and unscheduled work within an hour flight," continued Dillon.
