VIPdesk is hiring 50 customer service representatives (CSRs) to work from home, responding to incoming telephone calls, emails, and online chat requests from fashion-savvy retail shoppers. CSRs will earn an average of $10-12/hr plus benefits, working up to 34 hours weekly assisting customers of the premier online apparel retailer Bluefly.

VIPdesk's home-based customer service representatives, known as Brand Ambassadors, utilize customer service and sales skills to ensure each customer enjoys an amazing experience and wants to come back for more. Brand Ambassadors who represent Bluefly spend their days providing both customer service and personal shopping assistance, advising customers on navigating within Bluefly's site to find apparel or accessories, sizing and fit of particular designers, purchasing complementary items, product availability, sales or promotions, return policy information, as well as general fashion and/or customer service questions.

Ideal candidates are sales and customer service professionals who love fashion, sales and interacting with people, and who want to provide personal shopping services and general customer care from the comfort of their own home office. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in a customer-facing position. Prior sales experience is required. Additional requirements include excellent communication skills, computer savvy with internet skills, a polite and friendly phone demeanor, the ability to learn quickly in a technical environment, and the ability to work from their own home office.

This position requires legal residency in one of the following states: Alaska, Colorado, Delaware, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, or Virginia.
