NEWARK, DE -- The following information was released by the University of Delaware:
----Newark Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at 10:33 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 11, at the McDonald's at 815 South College Ave., Newark.

A man entered the store, displayed a black, long-barrel revolver and demanded cash from the cashier. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled, got into a car and was last seen turning right into the northbound lane of South College Avenue.
The suspect is described at 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with an average build and a mustache, in his 30s or early 40s. He was wearing black sneakers, black jeans, a blue shirt under a black leather jacket, a knit hat, sunglasses and cloth around his mouth.
The car is described as an older model, dark-colored, four-door sedan, possibly with custom rims and window tint. The rear passenger window may have something on it, such as a rain deflector or plastic bag.
